Job summary

Lawrence Dean Recruitment is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker for a Biggleswade-based role on a temporary to permanent basis. You will cut, shape, bend and assemble sheet metal to exact specifications in a busy production team.

You will read drawings, operate sheet metal machinery, perform quality checks and maintain a safe workshop. The role offers £13.00 per hour, Monday–Friday, with weekly pay while temporary and a path to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Previous sheet metal or fabrication experience is essential.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and workshop machinery.
• Good measuring skills and attention to detail.

Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker looking for a new opportunity? Do you enjoy hands-on engineering work and take pride in producing high-quality finished products?

Our client, an established engineering and manufacturing company based in Biggleswade, is looking for a hardworking Sheet Metal Worker to join their busy production team on a temporary to permanent basis.

About the Role

As a Sheet Metal Worker, you'll be responsible for cutting, shaping, bending and assembling sheet metal components to required specifications. This is a varied, hands-on role where accuracy, attention to detail and a good understanding of engineering processes are important.

What You Will Be Doing

• Cutting, bending and shaping sheet metal components
• Operating sheet metal machinery and equipment
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
