Job summary

Aspire Recruitment in Bury is recruiting a Sheet Metal Welder / Fabricator to join a skilled manufacturing team.

You’ll work on varied, high-quality engineered products using TIG and MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication and metal forming techniques.

This role offers a 37-hour week, overtime opportunities, a Friday finish at 12:30pm, and ongoing training within a stable, long‑term position.

Qualifications

• TIG and MIG welding experience.
• Sheet metal and stainless steel fabrication experience.
• Press brake / metal forming experience.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred.
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate sheet metal components to specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings and use appropriate fabrication techniques.
• Contribute to quality craftsmanship and meet production deadlines.
