JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Plater for a Govan-based heavy engineering environment. You will fabricate, assemble and install components from drawings, ensuring safe, high-quality workmanship. You will follow SHE processes, work with other trades, and maintain tight tolerances across all fabrication tasks.

You will support apprentices and adapt to evolving practices while maintaining strong hand skills and reliability in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualificações

• Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication and installation drawings.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and work from fabrication and installation drawings.
• Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and fitting with hand tools.
• Follow SHE requirements and maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and trades to resolve production issues.
• Maintain quality and work within specified tolerances.
• Support development of apprentices with trade knowledge.
