Job summary

BAE Systems in Glasgow is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker to manufacture and install high-quality metal components. You will interpret engineering drawings, measure, cut, shape and assemble using hand and power tools, ensuring accurate, well-finished work that meets safety and quality standards.

This role requires a Modern Apprenticeship, Trade Papers or SVQ/NVQ Level 3, plus experience in construction or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Modern Apprenticeship, Trade Papers or SVQ/NVQ Level 3 required.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, marine or practical engineering environments.
• Understanding of SHE and COSHH and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and install high-quality sheet metal components.
