HR GO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a busy fabrication team. The role involves producing high-quality sheet metal components, operating press brakes, and ensuring parts meet specification and finish standards.

Key duties include reading drawings, setting up brake presses, trimming and finishing components, performing quality checks, and supporting production and engineering teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience working with sheet metal in a fabrication/manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances.
• Committed to safe working practices.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, templates and work instructions.
• Cut, form, bend and assemble sheet metal using press brakes and other tools.
• Set up and operate brake press machinery safely and accurately.
• Trim, deburr and finish components to required tolerances.
• Perform dimensional checks and quality inspections throughout production.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area and comply with health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet delivery schedules.
