Workforce Recruitment and Training is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator / Press Brake Setter in Bromsgrove to join its production team. The role involves setting and operating a press brake, fabricating bespoke signage components to drawings, and using hand and power tools to shape aluminium and mild steel.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with pay £17.50–£20.00 per hour depending on experience. A pension and 25 days' holiday are on offer.

Qualifications

• Confident setting and operating a press brake – essential.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Experience working with aluminium and mild steel.
• Good measuring skills and attention to detail.
• Previous signage manufacturing experience is a plus.
• MIG welding experience is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Setting and operating a press brake to fold and form sheet metal components.

Workforce are recruiting an experienced

Sheet Metal Fabricator / Press Brake Setter to join an established signage manufacturing business based in Bromsgrove.

The company specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke commercial signage, architectural metalwork and specialist signage solutions for a variety of clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sheet metal fabricator with experience setting and operating press brakes, using power tools and producing high-quality metal components.

Candidates with previous experience in the signage industry will be particularly attractive and will be considered towards the higher end of the pay range.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced production team, your responsibilities will include:

• Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment.

• A reliable, practical and hands-on approach to work.
• Previous experience within the signage manufacturing industry.
• Experience fabricating bespoke signage and architectural metalwork.
• MIG welding experience.

What's on Offer?

• £17.50–£20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Higher rates available for candidates with relevant signage fabrication experience.
• Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm.
• 25 days' annual leave, including 5 days reserved for the Christmas shutdown, plus statutory bank holidays.
