Job summary

Accrofab Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting for a Fabrications - Sheet Metal Worker on the Late Shift. You will carry out bench fettling, deburring and finishing of thin gauge sheet metal components, dress and blend welds, polish components and inspect against drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bench fettling, deburring and finishing of precision thin gauge sheet metal components.
• Dress and blend welds to customer and engineering specifications.
• Polish metal components to the required surface finish.
• Set and fit finished parts to castings and/or gauges using metalwork techniques.
• Safely operate handheld pneumatic tools, belt linishing equipment and other bench finishing tools.
• Use measuring equipment to inspect and verify components against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Follow SOPs, SWIs and engineering documentation to consistently produce conforming parts with a zero-scrap mindset.
• Work accurately to tight tolerances on thin gauge materials.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support a culture of quality and operational excellence.

We have a vacancy within our Manufacturing Department and are currently recruiting for the role of Fabrications - Sheet Metal Worker on the Late Shift. We are looking for candidates who have relevant and proven experience seeking an opportunity to develop their skills and join a growing Organisation.

Shift Pattern: 39 hours per week working the Late Shift; 16.30 to 02.30 Monday to Wednesday and 16.30 to 01.30 Thursdays with designated breaks.

Key Responsibilities
