Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC programming for 3D laser and turret punch machines.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SigmaNest, AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to interpret drawings and DXF/3D files.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC laser cutting and turret punch machines from CAD data.
• Interpret drawings and CAD files to create accurate cutting programs.
• Optimise CNC programs using SigmaNest or equivalent software.
• Oversee routing and implement capacity planning for production.
• Monitor material usage and reduce waste; liaise with purchasing on stock.
• Troubleshoot programming and machine issues to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with design and shopfloor teams to improve workflow.
• Maintain records of programs, materials, and schedules.
