Job summary

INDAC in Huddersfield is seeking an Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing team. You will assemble sheet metal components using hand and power tools and interpret engineering drawings.

The role requires accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Ongoing work with potential for permanent employment, with an immediate start available and Monday to Thursday, 7am–4pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal assembly is essential.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiar with using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sheet metal components using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
