Taskmaster Resources is recruiting Assembly Operatives for a client in Ecclesfield, S35. The role offers stable, long-term hours Monday to Thursday with training and progression opportunities.

Starting pay is £12.71/hour during training and £14.15/hour after successful completion, with a Monday to Thursday shift from 6:00am to 3:30pm. The ideal candidate will have assembly/manufacturing experience and the ability to read technical drawings.

Taskmaster Resources is currently recruiting experienced Assembly Operatives to join our client based in Ecclesfield (S35). Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am 3:30pm

Pay:
£12.71 per hour during training
£14.15 per hour upon successful completion of training

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components and products in accordance with technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Work on a production line assembling products ready for the welding process.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Carry out visual quality inspections to ensure finished products meet required specifications.
• Identify and report any defects or quality concerns to the supervisor or quality team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety procedures.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules to meet production targets.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team and business objectives.
• Carry out basic tool and equipment setup or maintenance where required.
• Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is essential.
• Experience working in a production or engineering environment is advantageous.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
