Job summary

City College Norwich is seeking a capable and motivated individual to lead the Colleges Farm and Estate sheep enterprise on our 162ha estate. The role involves day-to-day flock management, grazing planning, Lambing, health, and student training across the farming year.

You will work closely with the Head of Estate on a regenerative, conservation-focused system and help shape the sheep enterprise while supporting wider estate priorities. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sheep husbandry, lambing and health management.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong safety and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily flock care and grazing/forage planning.
• Manage lambing, breeding cycles and health treatments.
• Record data and maintain electronic records (Agriwebb).
• Operate tractors and telehandlers for feeding and field tasks.
• Provide practical learning opportunities for students.
• Collaborate with estate staff and Head of Estate.
