Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a SHE Manager to lead HSE across the Macclesfield and Speke sites on a fixed-term contract to July 2027. The role reports to the Corporate Services team and involves strategic HSE leadership in a highly regulated pharmaceutical/production environment.

You will develop and implement HSE strategies, lead investigations, drive continuous improvement, and promote a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with UK legislation and client requirements.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or Chartered IOSH qualification.
• Recent experience in a senior HSE/Health & Safety role.
• Experience across multiple sites or within a complex operational environment.
• Strong auditing, compliance and HSE investigations experience.
• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging HSE training.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE strategy development and implementation across Macclesfield and Speke.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation, Sodexo policies and client requirements.
• Lead accident/incident investigations including Root Cause Analysis.
• Develop and maintain HSE plans, risk registers and action plans.
• Plan and oversee HSE audit programmes and close actions.
• Monitor HSE performance via KPI/OPI reporting and trends.
