Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced SHE Manager to lead HSE strategy across Macclesfield and Speke for a pharmaceutical flagship account. The role involves steering compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement while collaborating with client teams.

You will drive audits, investigations and training, ensuring adherence to UK legislation and Sodexo policies in a high-regulation environment. Regular travel is involved between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HSE strategy across multiple sites.
• Strong auditing and compliance background in regulated environments.
• Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Knowledge of UK HSE legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging HSE training.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of HSE strategies across Macclesfield and Speke.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation, Sodexo policies and client requirements.
• Lead accident and incident investigations with Root Cause Analysis.
• Develop and maintain HSE plans, risk registers and action plans.
• Plan and oversee HSE audit programmes and drive closure of actions.
• Monitor HSE performance via KPI/OPI reporting and identify improvements.
• Provide expert HSE guidance to operations, compliance and client teams.
• Collaborate with Corporate Services HSE & Risk Team and client SHE org.
