MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Regional SHE Managers provide a crucial service to the businesses within the Robertson Group. They provide personnel across our business with advice, guidance, and support services on SHE related matters, as well as undertaking a corporate governance role on behalf of the senior management teams, at both individual business and Robertson Group levels.

A SUMMARY OF THE POSITION’S KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Undertake SHE related corporate governance monitoring for the local business heads and Robertson Group.
  • Assist in assessing the competence of contractors.
  • Support local business heads in relation to SHE programmes and initiatives.
  • Provide a focus on SHE matters.
  • Provide advice and guidance to personnel in relation to SHE matters.
  • Participate in SHE investigations.
  • Help identify, develop, and as appropriate deliver, SHE training programmes and courses.
DUTIES
  • Conduct site inspections and audits in line with agreed programmes.
  • Participate in significant incident investigations.
  • Assess the SHE competence of vendors at Stage 1 of the CDM competence assessment process.
  • Produce written reports in relation to inspections, audits, and incident investigations in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols.
  • Deliver in‑house SHE training courses;
  • Attend and participate at SHE Department meetings.
  • Attend and participate at local Robertson Group businesses SHE meetings.
  • Liaise with Enforcing Authorities as appropriate.
  • Liaise with other SHE professionals within the business as appropriate to further SHEQ performance.
