Job summary

Wates Group is seeking a NEBOSH-qualified SHE Advisor to support project teams across the East Midlands, Yorkshire and North East. You will provide practical guidance to achieve safe, healthy and compliant working environments on construction sites.

You will inspect sites, review practices, investigate incidents and promote continuous improvement, while travelling across the region to partner with site teams and supply chain partners. This is a hands-on role with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification is essential.
• Experience in SHE within construction is preferred.
• Willingness to travel regionally across East Midlands, Yorkshire and North East.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical SHE advice and guidance on safety, health and environmental matters.
• Support site teams with inspections, audits and SHE reviews.
• Identify hazards and support effective risk management.
• Review working practices and promote continuous improvement.
• Support incident investigations and share lessons learned.
• Build strong relationships with project teams and supply chain partners.
