Job summary

Experis is supporting a Leading Professional Services organisation on a Microsoft 365/SharePoint Solutions Architect engagement in Edinburgh, to design and migrate a large-scale document management platform. This consulting role sits with Experis and aims to deliver a secure, compliant and resilient SharePoint Online environment.

The project starts ASAP with an initial four-week discovery, followed by a broader migration strategy across Microsoft 365 services, enabling future-state architecture

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Experience delivering greenfield SharePoint environments and large migration projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and migration of a large-scale SharePoint Online document management platform.
• Collaborate with business owners to define requirements and migration strategy.
• Define the architecture for security, compliance, and business continuity during transition.
• Provide input on project schedules and manage stakeholder communications.

Job description

Experis are partnering with a Leading Professional Services organisation who have been embarking on a major digital transformation of various area of their business. Experis are now supporting with their Sharepoint project, whereby we are looking for a Microsoft 365/Sharepoint Solutions Architect to lead the design and migration of a large scale document management platform.

This is a consulting role, acting on behalf of Experis and is the first phase of a longer statement of work project.

The organisation currently operates on a legacy system and are looking to implement a new Sharepoint Online based document management environment, migrating a large number of documents, while ensuring security, compliance, accessibility and business continuity throughout the transition.

This is a highly visible greenfield project with an immediate start, offering the opportunity to shape up the future state architecture and migration strategy from the ground up.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 solutions
• Expedience delivering greenfield Sharepoint environments
• Excellent experience in scoping out a Greenfield project, working with the Business to define and detail Project schedules.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
