SharePoint Developer

Contract: 12 Months

Location: Preston onsite 1–2 days per month

Hourly Rate: £35.00 PAYE or £47.11 Umbrella inside IR35

Hours: 37 Hours per week

Overview

Are you a SharePoint expert looking to work on high-impact, enterprise-scale solutions?

BAE Systems is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join a dynamic SharePoint Product Team. You will help drive innovation and collaboration across our global business, supporting mission-critical platforms in a secure and complex environment.

Skills

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in SharePoint environments.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online/2013/2016, with skills in tools like Nintex, K2, Sharegate.
• Experience in managing stakeholders and leading technical delivery.
• ITIL Foundation (required), Microsoft MS900 and AZ900 (mandatory).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

The Job

• Translating business requirements into effective SharePoint solutions.
• Leading workshops, demos, and solution planning with key stakeholders.
• Managing SharePoint development and migration projects, including upgrades to future versions.
• Working closely with Business Engagement Leads, Engineers, and external partners.
• Promoting best practices, driving continuous improvement, and acting as an SME in SharePoint technologies.
