Job summary

G MASS Consulting partners with a leading global hedge fund in London to own end-to-end SFTR reporting, covering repo, securities lending and margin lending. The role combines regulatory interpretation with BAU oversight, data investigation and testing, based full-time in the London office.

The successful candidate will act as the firm's principal SFTR expert, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and traceability from regulation to implementation, while engaging Compliance, Technology and Front Office

Qualifications

• SFTR reporting ownership experience in hedge funds or banks
• Understanding of SFTR fields, data mappings, and reconciliation
• Experience as SFTR SME, obligation owner or Change Manager
• Strong BAU regulatory reporting and risk management experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SFTR reporting including repo, securities lending and margin lending
• Maintain regulation understanding and data-enrichment rules
• Lead changes with requirements gathering, Jira, testing, and UAT
• Identify data-quality issues and implement sustainable resolutions
• Coordinate responses to regulatory enquiries with Compliance
• Engage with trade repositories/regulators as needed
• Guide SFTR roadmap focusing on automation and control maturity
