Job summary

Gateshead Health is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant for our Rapid Response Nursing Team in Gateshead. The role involves delivering a range of community-based care in patients' homes across the Gateshead borough and beyond, with travel as required.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and provide compassionate, high-quality support seven days a week. You will need to be adaptable, patient-centred and able to prioritise effectively.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths required.
• NVQ Level 2 in health or social care or equivalent.
• Full manual driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care in patients' homes.
• Support with clinical tasks under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with the team.
