Job summary

Sphere Solutions is looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer in Wiltshire to support a major commercial building project. This permanent opportunity offers a competitive salary between £45,000 and £60,000, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include accurate setting out and surveying of civil engineering works, liaising with site management, and ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates should have relevant experience, a valid CSCS card, and preferably an engineering qualification.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering projects.
• Commercial building and groundworks experience.
• Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations and infrastructure works.

Responsibilities

• Setting out using total stations and GPS equipment.
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities.
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications.
