BYLOR Joint Venture is looking for a Setting-out Engineer to support construction activities at Hinkley Point C. The role involves setting out, levelling, and surveying on site while collaborating with engineers and the construction team.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of relevant experience, knowledge of surveying, and skills in reinforced concrete. This position offers competitive salaries, private medical insurance, and company pensions.
Bouygues Travaux Publics (TP) and Laing O’Rourke, two of Europe’s most dynamic engineering and construction specialists, are working together in a joint venture named BYLOR to deliver the main civil engineering works at Hinkley Point C (HPC) worth over £2.8 billion.
Setting‑out engineers support the engineering team through the use of site plans, technology and precision instruments, to pinpoint and mark structural features above and below ground throughout the nuclear construction activities.
All positions with Bylor are employed directly with either Laing O’Rourke or Bouygues Travaux Public and include competitive salaries, private medical insurance, company pension schemes and annual holiday allowance. Some grades will also include a company car allowance.
Unless stated otherwise all positions are based at Hinkley Point C in Somerset.
