Job summary

Link Force Ltd is seeking a skilled Setting Out Engineer for a major Bristol infrastructure project. You will translate complex engineering designs on site, ensuring foundations, steel elements, pads, trenches, drainage inverts and skids are accurately set out with precise offsets.

You will read multi-disciplinary drawings and 3D/BIM models to support smooth execution, liaising with the project team and adhering to health and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Must possess CSCS Card.
• Proven experience as Setting Out Engineer on similar projects.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Experience with 3D/BIM models and coordination platforms.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication with the project team.
• Awareness of health and safety protocols on construction sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out works involving accurately translating complex engineering designs onto site, ensuring foundations, structural steel elements, pads, trenches, drainage inverts, and equipment skids are precisely set out with clear offset pegs. The role requires reading and interpreting multi-disciplinary engineering drawings, technical specifications, and 3D/BIM coordination models to facilitate smooth and accurate execution of the project works.
