Job summary

A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to work on renewable energy projects across the civils sector. You will set out using total station and GPS, supervise on-site works, and ensure compliance with health and safety and approved methodologies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the project management team, maintaining site documentation, and ensuring timely delivery to specification. A CSCS card and UK right-to-work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Strong communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Site Engineer responsibilities

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer requirements

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
