Job summary

A leading civil engineering contractor is hiring an experienced Site Engineer to support multiple renewable energy civils contracts. You will set out using total station and GPS, supervise on site and coordinate with the project management team.

Requirements include experience with earthworks, duct installations, RC bases, CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS preferred, full UK driving licence and strong communication skills. Right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• CSCS card.
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Site Engineer responsibilities:

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Site Engineer requirements:

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
