Job summary

G2 Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer for an immediate start on a major London data centre project. This freelance role spans an initial 3 months with potential extension to follow-on London data centre work.

You will carry out accurate setting out and surveying, ensure works align with drawings and specs, perform as-built surveys, liaise with site management and subcontractors, and maintain comprehensive engineering records on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background within highly regulated environments such as Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Power Generation, Energy or Industrial sectors.
• Confident interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Right to work in UK.
• Available for an immediate start.

The Opportunity

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background within Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Power Generation, Energy, Industrial or similar highly regulated environments.
• Proficient in the use of Leica surveying equipment and related software.
• Confident interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Available for an immediate start.

Previous data centre project experience highly advantageous
