Job summary

Kibble is seeking dedicated staff to work with young people who have experienced trauma, supporting their development and wellbeing within residential care, education and mental health services.

Successful candidates will join a committed team and may participate in Safe Crisis Management training. The role requires flexibility to cover shifts across 24/7 operations and adherence to strict safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people is desirable.
• Ability to form professional relationships with young people and staff.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to maintain a consistent, professional, non-confrontational approach.
• Self-awareness and sensitivity when handling confidential information.
• Willingness to work a 24/7/365 timetable and drive when required.

Responsibilities

• Encourage personal development of each young person.
• Work as part of a designated staff team within Centre and Unit policies.
• Participate in unit communication systems (handovers, meetings, logs, diaries).
• Maintain appropriate confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Provide a safe environment by adhering to Health and Safety guidelines and checks.
• Undertake other duties as directed by a senior staff member.
