Job summary

Phoenix Futures North Lanarkshire is seeking dedicated individuals to provide sessional, ad-hoc cover across services for adults and families affected by drug and alcohol use. The role emphasizes person-centred care, compassion, and willingness to learn within a collaborative team environment.

Based in Coatbridge, the post offers opportunities to engage in a range of activities including assessment, support planning, recovery work, harm reduction, and referral.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is desirable, however not essential.
• Support workers come from many backgrounds and experiences.
• You may have the skills required, based on your values, willingness to learn, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, person-centred ad-hoc cover across North Lanarkshire services when staff are unavailable.
• Support adults and families affected by drug and alcohol use through engagement, screening, assessment, and one-to-one support.
• Contribute to a range of North Lanarkshire provision across multiple localities and programmes.
• Promote dignity, choice, rights, recovery, inclusion and maintain professional boundaries and accurate records.
