Job summary

CHEC is seeking an Audiologist to join our team on a sessional basis. You will perform hearing assessments for adults, conduct audiometric testing, and provide hearing aid fitting and support. You will also take aural impressions and ensure quality patient care while coordinating with external teams.

The role requires autonomous work, strong communication, and teamwork within a NHS-aligned audiology framework. Join CHEC as we expand across the UK and enhance eye health services in the community.

Qualifications

• Eligible for RCCP registration and qualified in audiology.
• One year placement or NHS audiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Undertake hearing assessment of adults of all ages.
• Perform routine audiometric testing (air/bone conduction, tympanometry, reflex testing).
• Conduct hearing aid assessment, fitting, validation and ongoing support.
• Take aural impressions following BSA procedures.
• Promote patient-focused care and liaise with external agencies.
• Maintain patient records and stock.
