Job summary

AQUARIUS ACTION PROJECTS is seeking an Alcohol Team Recovery Coordinator to join New Vision Bradford, delivering collaborative recovery planning for adults affected by substance misuse. The role focuses on engagement, assessment and moving clients toward sustained recovery within a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

You will manage a diverse caseload, develop recovery plans and work with partners to improve health outcomes. A driving licence and local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people affected by alcohol and/or drug use and/or individuals with complex and multiple needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage an adult caseload involving a range of substance use issues, including opiate, non-opiate and alcohol use.
• Devise, implement and review ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
• Facilitate and promote individuals’ progression from initial engagement through structured treatment to sustained recovery.
• Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
• Work collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals.
• Support prescribing and scripting processes; Support evening clinics where required.
