Are you a ServiceNow Developer on the lookout for a new exciting opportunity?

As a ServiceNow Developer at Sopra Steria, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality product-based solutions to our wide variety of clients. You will engage in the entire project lifecycle, from design and development to configuration, testing, and production deployment, redefining user stories into tangible outcomes. This role will enhance your technical skills and customer-facing abilities while working under the guidance of a project manager or senior developer.

We seek individuals with experience in developing and delivering end-to-end solutions within ServiceNow, who thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable communicating with both internal and external partners.

While the majority of your time will be spent working from home, there would be ad-hoc travel to our head office in Hemel Hempstead as well as various client sites.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will carry out documented operations of moderate complexity under supervision, focusing on design, development, and configuration in line with established standards.
  • Your role will involve writing detailed software specifications for applications, as well as network and hardware configurations.
  • You'll support in developing software that operates optimally and monitors systems, contributing to production launches when needed.
  • Systematic reliability checks through unit testing and basic security procedures.
  • Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to suggest improvements to processes that enhance productivity and quality, ensuring resources are applied efficiently.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience working in a hands-on ServiceNow development role, with expertise and relevant certification;CSA(Certified System Administrator).
  • Examining Now Platform architecture: Analysing the structure and components of the Now Platform to understand how it works and how to best use its features.
  • Implementing the Now Platform: Putting the Now Platform into practice, including setting it up and configuring it to meet specific business needs.
  • Exploring extended Now Platform capabilities: Investigating more features and functionalities available on the Now Platform to enhance its use and integrate new solutions.
  • Participating in ServiceNow Community discussion forums and user and industry groups: Engaging with other ServiceNow users and experts to share knowledge, seek advice, and stay updated on best practices and trends.
