Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced Toolmaker in the West Midlands. The role requires servicing, repairing and refurbishing tooling to meet production needs, with manufacturing of associated parts when required.

The ideal candidate has five years of toolmaking experience, familiarity with press tools, and the ability to read engineering drawings. A manufacturing qualification is helpful but not essential.

Our client, a global engineering and manufacturing business, specialises in cold roll-formed steel solutions for the construction, infrastructure, transport and industrial sectors. With a reputation for technical excellence, innovative manufacturing processes and high-quality engineered products, the company supports customers worldwide through its advanced manufacturing facilities and engineering expertise. They are looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join their team in the West Midlands. The role involves servicing, repairing and refurbishing tooling to ensure production requirements are met, alongside manufacturing associated parts when required. The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience in a toolmaking role, experience working with press tools, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. A manufacturing qualification would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with strong relevant experience.
