Job summary

Donnelly Group is seeking a Service Technician for our multi-brand workshop in the UK. You will recondition vehicles, perform routine servicing, replace components, and diagnose faults with modern equipment.

The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) with at least two years’ experience, a full driving licence, and a positive, customer-focused approach. You will work both independently and with colleagues to achieve right-first-time service.

Qualifications

• Essential: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and 2+ years' experience.
• Experience in multi-brand or non-franchise environment.
• Familiar with diagnostic equipment; training provided.
• Full driving licence required.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Recondition and prepare vehicles to high mechanical standards.
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance.
• Replace brakes, timing belts, and other components as required.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately record service, repair, and maintenance work.
• Perform warranty-related inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, economically, and within agreed timescales.
• Maintain a clean, organised workshop.
• Deliver a right-first-time approach to servicing and repairs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction.
