Job summary

Motorvogue Northampton, part of a growing network of brands, is seeking an experienced Service Technician / Mot Tester for our Northampton branch. You will perform maintenance, servicing, MoT testing and repairs to high standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification with MoT experience, possess excellent communication and organisational skills, and demonstrate a positive, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification with at least 2 years experience in a similar role within the motor industry.
• MoT Qualification required.

Job description

Service Technician / MoT Tester (Northampton)

Motorvogue Northampton - home of Fiat, Alfa Romeo, JEEP, SEAT and CUPRA Aftersales - are looking to recruit an experienced Level 3 Service Technician / Mot Tester at our Northampton branch to undertake all maintenance, servicing, MoT and repair activities on motor vehicles.

Carrying out work completely and effectively within manufacturers’ and Company servicing and repair times, you will ensure that work is always to the highest standard as you seek to achieve consistently high customer satisfaction and repeat / incremental business.

You will have:

• Level 3 qualification with at least 2 years experience in a similar role within the motor industry, ideally with Main Dealer experience, although this is not essential. Experience with our brands would be a distinct advantage.
• MoT Qualification
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• An ability to be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads
• A positive attitude at all times and always lead by example

We offer a competitive salary of £34,000 - £37,000 depending on experience, plus a bonus scheme (OTE £42k). We are a fast-growing business and will be taking on additional brands in the future.

Our normal working hours are 5 days per week (Monday-Friday) with very occasional Saturdays (paid as overtime). You will also get your birthday off once probation has been passed.

A driving licence is essential for this role.
