Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Egham is seeking a Service Technician to join a growing team. The role is temp on-going with potential to go perm for the right candidate. Hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute paid break and a 30-minute unpaid break.

Salary starts at £28,000 and is DOE. The role involves quoting services, servicing and calibrating/test equipment, assisting with repairs, stock control, and keeping the work areas clean.

Qualifications

• Experience with test and measurement equipment or electronics.
• Familiar with Sage and other systems.
• Experience working to deadlines.
• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Quoting services that are coming in, once given the go ahead completing the service/calibration and repair if required in a timely and professional manner.
• Quote and assess portable gas analysers along with other test and measurement equipment that is coming in for service and repairs.
• Assisting the service, calibration and any other repairs that are required to equipment
• Assisting with stock control, ensuring that all consumables and spare equipment is available to carry out servicing and repairs.
• General housekeeping duties to keep the service areas clean and tidy
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
• Ability to problem solve/fault find, using own initiative and communicate effectively.

We are working with our client who supplies, services, and calibrates test and measurement equipment across a wide range of industries. Their customers operate within sectors including power, plumbing and heating, water utilities, marine, coffee machine manufacturing, and dentistry. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for two new Service Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Quoting services that are coming in, once given the go ahead completing the service/calibration and repair if required in a timely and professional manner.
