Volkswagen Blackpool

Hours: 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays

Salary: Up to £38k including OTE

Lookers VW Blackpool is recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join our workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks, services, and repairs using the latest technology.

Reporting to Mark Connor, you will receive ongoing support, training opportunities including manufacturer accredited schemes, and Hybrid & Electric training to advance your career.

Our technicians are vital to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages.

Responsibilities include:

1. Carrying out vehicle health checks with modern technology
2. Conducting MOTs per manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
3. Performing additional repairs with customer approval
4. Road testing vehicles to ensure faults are fixed
5. Completing paperwork accurately

The ideal candidate will have workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and work to high standards. A full UK driving license and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are required. An MOT license is a plus.

Experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand training is provided.
