The Edmund Trust & Eddie’s in St Ives, Cambridgeshire is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to lead a support team and deliver person-centred care for adults with learning and physical disabilities. The role is 35 hours per week, permanent, with a salary around £31,847 per annum.

You will coach staff, maintain safe staffing levels, and liaise with professionals and families to enable individual goals. A Level 3 Health & Social Care diploma and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning and physical disabilities and autism.
• Ability to coach and mentor staff with confidence through experience.
• Proactive, dynamic and adaptable approach to care support.
• Willingness to work to flexible rotas including weekends/evenings.
• Driver with own car and access to a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Deliver person-centred support through coaching and managing a team.
• Ensure safe staffing levels across services at all times.
• Liaise with professionals and families of the people we support.
• Support staff recruitment and retention activities.
• Act as a role model and mentor for staff.
• Support the Service Manager with delegated tasks.
• Act as First Tier for on-call on a rota basis (roughly 1 week in 3 months).
