Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Service & Support Engineer to program, service and repair automated machinery at customer sites across England and Wales. You will diagnose control system issues and provide remote technical support from site when needed.

The role requires strong Siemens PLC and ABB robotics experience, along with practical electrical and mechanical engineering skills. Travel and overnight stays are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong Siemens PLC programming experience, ideally S7-1200.
• ABB robot programming experience, IRC5.
• Practical electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
• Experience fault-finding, servicing and repairing industrial machinery.
• Ability to provide remote technical support and online diagnostics.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and stay away overnight.
• Desirable: Siemens or Weintek HMI programming experience, accredited PLC or robotics training.

Position: Service & Support Engineer

Location: Field-based - England & Wales

Salary: Up to £21 per hour, dependent on experience

Hours: 45+ hours per week

Benefits: Company vehicle, laptop, uniform, pension, overtime at 1.5x and £30 per overnight stay

Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a specialist client within process and packaging machinery, including robotic automation. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Service & Support Engineer to join their team.

This is a field-based position involving programming, servicing, repairs and fault-finding on automated machinery at customer sites. You will also provide remote technical support and diagnose control system issues.

Travel across England and Wales is required, with regular overnight stays as needed.

Service & Support Engineer Requirements

• Strong Siemens PLC programming experience, ideally S7-1200.
• ABB robot programming experience, particularly IRC5.
• Practical electrical and mechanical engineering skills.

Service & Support Engineer Package

• Up to £21 per hour, depending on experience.
