Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated cleaner to work under the Clinical Site Manager on shift, delivering specialist cleaning to areas across the Trust to reduce cross-contamination and maintain a safe environment.

This role provides 24/7 support to patient flow by keeping spaces clean as directed, using equipment provided, completing audits and quality documentation, and reporting any equipment faults or environmental issues to senior staff.

This position works under direct supervision of the Clinical Site Manager on shift in support of a 24/7 patient flow service undertaking tasks and duties delegated. The main element of the role is to provide specialist cleaning to areas within Wye Valley Trust to minimise the risk of cross contamination., Providing 24/7 support to patient flow by maintaining the cleanliness of the environment as and when directed by Clinical Site Manager

To use equipment provided as required for the task

Complete all audit and quality standards documentation as required

To recognise and report to appropriate senior staff any equipment failure or environmental factors that has the potential of an adverse impact.
