Job summary

Mitie Group in the UK seeks a Service Remedials Manager to oversee service remedial works on fire protection systems nationwide.

You will conduct site surveys, procure labour and equipment, liaise with clients and manage cost control to ensure contracts stay within budgets and compliance with method statements and RA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience of commercial sprinkler installations.
• CSCS/CCNSG card.
• Strong procurement and cost control skills.
• Background in commercial sprinkler contracts, wet and dry risers.
• Strong understanding of MS Office and project management tools.
• Knowledge of BS EN12845, LPC Rules & BS9990.

Service Department – Service Remedials Manager

As part of the Service Department, you will manage a selection of service remedial works on fire protection systems projects based nationally.

Responsibilities

• Site surveys
• Procurement of labour, equipment and fabrication
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and site managers/supervisors
• In partnership with your manager you will be responsible for cost control of contracts/projects
• Maintain compliance of projects with issued and approved method statements and risk assessments

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience of commercial sprinkler installations
• CSCS/CCNSG card
• Strong procurement and cost control skills
• Background in commercial sprinkler contracts, wet riser systems and dry riser systems
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and similar project management software
• Understanding of Sprinkler related standards BS EN12845, LPC Rules & BS9990
