Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking an AR878 Service Controller based in Yate. You will coordinate service engineers, handle inquiries, log jobs and invoices, and ensure SLAs are met. A strong admin and communication background is preferred.

You will act as a primary contact for customers and engineers, plan workloads, monitor progress, and contribute to KPI reporting and depot coordination.

Qualifications

• PC literate with good typing and basic software skills.
• Excellent telephone manner and customer contact experience.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls from customers and action as necessary.
• Plan workloads and deploy engineers ensuring maximum efficiencies are maintained.
• Liaise with depots, dealers and 3rd party providers, ensuring response within timescales.
• Provide daily status updates on ongoing jobs and KPI data.
• Handle customer queries, quotations and estimates.
• Monitor job sheets and timesheets, flag variances to Service Manager.
• Ensure parts requests are followed up to minimise downtime.
• Produce estimates for chargeable work using templates.
• Cover during absence and perform general admin duties.
• Authorize overtime with Service Manager and monitor logs.
