Job summary

Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking a Service Manager for the MyST My Support Team. The role is permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week, based across Caerphilly and regional sites, to lead and coordinate youth mental health services.

You will require a professional degree, extensive managerial experience in children's social services, and a UK Category B driving licence to travel for meetings. The role offers a competitive salary and Local Government Pension Scheme benefits.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent in an appropriate professional field
• Knowledge of current legislation, regulation and guidance in children's social services and relevant mental health legislation and guidance for children and young people
• Extensive managerial experience in children's social services
• A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings
