Job summary

Royal Mencap Society is seeking a Service Manager to oversee two Corby services, including a Registered Service. You will lead staff, ensure compliance, and drive high-quality person-centred support for people with learning disabilities.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive social care experience, and the ability to travel between locations. Expect a flexible, seven-day-week schedule and involvement in on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care leadership, preferably in learning disability services.
• Ability to lead teams, manage performance and develop staff.
• Strong IT skills and the ability to use relevant systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the service is fully compliant with regulations.
• Practice management and staff supervision.
• Observe staff to maintain high standards.
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations are met.
• Liaise with families and other stakeholders.
• Lead ongoing service development and team growth.
• Be proficient in IT to support service delivery.
