Job summary

Seven Group Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced Housing Options Manager to deliver statutory homeless duties, shape the homelessness strategy, and lead a high-performing team within the Housing department.

You will manage the Allocations Policy, Housing Register, lettings, and temporary accommodation, coordinating out-of-hours responses and building strong partnerships with landlords and Registered Providers to ensure effective community support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading homelessness strategy development.
• Knowledge of Allocations Policy, Housing Register and lettings processes.
• Experience in budgeting for temporary accommodation and homelessness services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure statutory homeless and rehousing duties are met efficiently.
• Deliver a customer-focused Housing Options service, anticipating and preventing housing issues.
• Lead complex and sensitive case resolutions, evaluating policies and processes.
• Coordinate out-of-hours responses for homelessness issues, ensuring community support.
• Develop and implement the Homelessness Strategy.
• Manage the Allocations Policy, Housing Register, and lettings functions.
• Oversee temporary accommodation strategies and Housing Support initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with landlords and Registered Providers.
• Act as commissioning lead for housing options IT systems.
• Monitor and manage operational budgets for temporary accommodation and statutory homelessness functions.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Represent the Housing department at multi-agency forums and deputise for the Head of Strategic Housing when needed.
