Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is recruiting a Service Manager to lead the safe, compliant delivery of maintenance services across the VIVO RFCA contract. You will coordinate teams, ensure proper documentation, and drive high standards while maintaining cost control and risk management.

The role requires experience in planned and reactive maintenance, a relevant HNC, and a health & safety qualification such as SMSTS. A strong IT background and CAFM proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in planned and reactive maintenance environments with small project delivery.
• HNC (or equivalent) in a building, civil, electrical or mechanical discipline, with SMSTS or equivalent health & safety qualification.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services across the contract.
• Coordinate day-to-day service delivery with qualified operatives and correct equipment.
• Oversee safe systems of work and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Ensure CAFM records and supporting documentation are completed on time.
• Manage small billable works and provide professional and technical advice.
• Balance operational priorities with commercial awareness and manage costs and risk.
