The Role

Compass Associates are working with an established national domiciliary care provider to recruit a Service Manager for their Glasgow service.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established service that has undergone significant investment in its systems and operational processes, with the opportunity to build on this progress and support its continued development.

The successful Service Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, providing clear leadership and direction to the team while maintaining high standards across care delivery, quality and regulatory compliance.

Working closely with an experienced senior operational leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to develop colleagues, build on existing processes and contribute to the future direction of the service. The Service Manager role offers genuine autonomy to shape working practices, support staff engagement and promote a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture.

Candidate

We're looking for an experienced and proactive care professional with strong operational leadership skills, a sound understanding of care regulations and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Previous domiciliary care management experience is strongly preferred, particularly within local authority-funded services. However, applications from experienced care managers and senior supervisors who can demonstrate strong operational knowledge and leadership capabilities will also be considered.

You’ll be a confident, approachable leader who enjoys coaching and developing colleagues, building positive working relationships and supporting teams to deliver consistently high standards of care.

Requirements

• Minimum SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a care management or senior supervisory role
• Strong understanding of Care Inspectorate requirements, quality assurance and regulatory compliance
• Experience managing teams, developing colleagues and supporting operational development
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Experience in domiciliary care / care at home strongly preferred
• Full UK driving licence
