Job summary

Dudley MBC is seeking a Service Manager for Harm Outside the Home, Edge of Care and Emotional Wellbeing to drive strategic and operational delivery, ensuring safe, high‑quality services for children, young people and families.

The role requires senior leadership, safeguarding oversight, and effective resource management, with responsibility for performance, quality assurance and partnership working across multi‑agency partners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading services for children and families.
• Strong safeguarding expertise and risk management.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources.
• Excellent partnership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across Harm Outside the Home, Edge of Care and Emotional Wellbeing Services.
• Ensure safeguarding oversight, performance and quality assurance across the portfolio.
• Lead workforce strategy, recruitment, development and deployment of staff.
• Develop effective relationships with partners across Children’s Social Care, Health, Education and Police.
• Drive service improvement and ensure value for money and measurable impact.
