Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is inviting applications for a Service Manager to support the Service Centre Manager and lead a busy team in delivering excellent service. The role focuses on performance, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction within the UK's largest equipment rental provider.

You will coach staff, ensure procedures are followed, and deputise in the manager’s absence while driving continuous improvement across the centre.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Self-motivated with drive to high quality standards.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety practices at work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Full driving licence is required.

About The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Service Manager to join the Sunbelt Rentals Team.

In the role of Service Manager you will assist the Service Centre Manager to manage all areas and aspects of a busy Service Centre, driving the business forward to ensure targets and the highest possible standards of customer satisfaction are achieved. You will be responsible for:-

• Supporting with the management of the Service Centre team in line with Company policies to maximise the performance of the Service Centre
• Ensuring compliance with Company’s contract administration procedures
• Coaching and motivating employees to get the best from your team and deliver an excellent service to all customers
• Ensuring that all aspects of work and process are carried out in-line with Health and Safety guidelines
• Ensuring that the quality of customer care/service and products provided reflect the highest levels of excellence
• Deputise in the absence of the Service Centre Manager

To be considered for the Service Manager role, we’re looking for someone who has the following experience and attributes:-

• Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Computer literate. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good understanding and experience of managing Health and Safety practices at work
• Self-motivated with the drive to succeed and to high quality standards
• Full driving licence.
