Job summary

Real Life Options is seeking a Service Lead to oversee supported living services across the Ripley, Nottingham and Long Eaton areas. This full-time role involves leading staff teams, ensuring person-centred care and safe service delivery.

You will manage day-to-day operations, participate in an on-call rota, contribute to service user reviews, support plan development, and ensure safe medication procedures. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities in a supported living or enabling environment.
• Strong commitment to community-based care for adults with learning disabilities.
• Understanding the social, personal, physical, occupational and leisure needs of adults with learning disabilities.
• Knowledge of supporting people with learning disabilities, multiple disabilities and complex needs.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a care and support setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff teams to deliver person‑centred care.

Due to an increase in service delivery hours, we have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated Service Lead to join our team, supporting services across the Ripley, Nottingham and Long Eaton areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with supervisory experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support. As a Service Lead, you will act as a role model for support staff, providing leadership and guidance while overseeing the day-to-day operation of supported living services.

About the Role

Essential requirements include:

• A full UK driving licence - Mileage expenses are claimable when travelling between services.
• Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities within a supported living or enabling environment.
• A strong commitment to the principles of community-based care.
• An understanding of the social, personal, physical, occupational and leisure needs of adults with learning disabilities.
• Knowledge and understanding of supporting people with learning disabilities, multiple disabilities, and complex needs.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a care and support setting.
