Job summary

Jackson Lift Services Limited in Cardiff is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to join our busy office. The successful candidate will report to the area Supervisor and primarily cover the South Wales area, with occasional work in surrounding locations.

Duties include lift maintenance, callouts and minor repairs, route management and paperwork, insurance report items, LG & ST testing, and night call rota participation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience & a minimum NVQ3 qualifications or equivalent.
• Strong customer skills.
• A current, valid driving licence.
• A DBS check will be required.

Job description

We have an opportunity for a Lift Service Engineer working for our busy Cardiff office.

The successful applicant will report directly to the area Supervisor and will be predominantly working within the South Wales area. However, work in other surrounding areas may be required.

The main areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Lift maintenance, callouts and minor repairs.
• Management of service route and process, transmitting of route paperwork.
• Completion of insurance report items.
• LG & ST testing.
• Participation in the night call rota.
