Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced Lift Service & Call Out Engineer to cover Gloucester, South Wales, and surrounding areas. The role focuses on planned servicing, breakdown response, fault diagnosis, and repairs across various lift types.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently while managing a route and a call-out schedule. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Lift Service & Call Out Engineer is essential.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge is required.
• Experience with servicing, fault finding and repairs is essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own route.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to participate in a call-out rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and maintenance of lifts.
• Attend breakdowns and emergency call outs.
• Fault find and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Carry out minor repairs and remedial works.
• Work across a range of lift equipment and manufacturers.
• Complete service reports and ensure paperwork is accurate.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.
